Heather Branderhorst

Heather is an ABO Certified Optician with 16 years of experience. She has spent the last 11 years in Neuro Optometry, working with unique patients who have complex prescriptions. This has given her the opportunity to constantly come up with creative solutions, when a patient's needs would not have otherwise been met. Heather's passion is teaching opticians how to be excellent opticians and promoting a mindset that we should treat every patient as though they are our own mother. Heather has years of experience creating training materials, procedural handbooks, and developed other forms, as well as training newly hired employees and doctors. Her expertise lies in creating training materials, training staff on patient care, Optics 101, customer service, how to increase sales, and helping the independent ECP's run efficiently.
Mercedes Dunaway
Co-founder
Mercedes has her Bachelor's in Business Management and her Master's in Psychology. Mercedes has experience as a recruiter, payroll, and personnel coordinator. She has 11 years of experience in the medical field before transitioning into human resources. With her experience with recruitment, interviewing, and training new hires her passion is in ensuring the staff are set up for success in their new positions. She has given several presentations to previous clients and staff on key topics such as generations in the workplace, personality team-building exercises and payroll/personnel best practices for small businesses.
